Content Writer

An Ideal Candidate:

• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and respectfully in all forms of communication.
• Experience with Associated Press or Chicago style; previous experience with one or more style guides preferred.
• Exceptional editing skills, ability to ensure accurate and consistent tone, clarity, structure, and mechanics with outstanding attention to detail.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable.
• Experience with content-development processes, methods, and principles.
• Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment.
• Proven track record working independently and with a team Passion for providing a phenomenal user experience
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines
• Proven ability to foster a positive team environment and work as a team leader (member)
• Experience building collaborative relationships and independently resolving questions/ conflicts with partners
• Able to host and attend meetings within and outside hours of operation for a global partner population
• Experience with business process improvement preferred Experience optimizing written content for localization/translation preferred
• Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG 2.0) preferred
• Understanding of readability measurement methods preferred Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or other content management system preferred
• BA/BS degree in related field (or equivalent) plus at least 3 years relevant work experience preferred.
