About the Role:

The Content Reviewer role within the Advertising Trust Operations (ATO) team is critical in maintaining the integrity of our advertising business. You will be responsible for moderating and auditing advertisements to ensure compliance with Amazon's advertising guidelines. This includes reviewing content such as text, photos, audio, and video that is submitted by advertisers. Your efforts will help maintain a trustworthy, seamless experience for our customers while supporting advertisers in growing their businesses on Amazon.

In this role, you will directly contribute to the success of Amazon's fast-growing advertising business and help shape the advertising experience for millions of customers. You'll be working on cutting-edge advertising solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize ad campaigns and content formats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Moderation:
  • Moderate various ad formats, including images, text, product descriptions, audio, and videos.
  • Review ads to ensure they meet Amazon's advertising guidelines and do not contain inappropriate or harmful content (e.g., political, sexual, offensive).
  • Identify content that might be egregious, political, or inappropriate and take appropriate action based on policy guidelines.
  • Ad Relevance:
  • Evaluate the relevance of ads based on customer queries and improve the customer shopping experience on Amazon by maintaining ad relevance standards.
  • Stay updated on global news and trends to moderate content during critical events.
  • Communication & Feedback:
  • Moderate/audit content and advertiser emails in English or the language you were hired for.
  • Use translation tools as necessary to support moderation in various languages.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements based on customer insights.
  • Performance & Metrics:
  • Consistently meet productivity, precision, and other operational metrics.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure the best possible advertising experience for customers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Language Proficiency:
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule, including working weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Experience in online advertising.
  • Knowledge of Excel at an advanced level.
