Inviting applications for the role of Consultant, SAP MDG Techno Functional!
Responsibilities
Need of SAP MDG Techno-Functional Consultant who can lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions by blending functional knowledge with technical ABAP expertise to ensure high-quality, integrated master data across domains like customer, vendor, and materials.
Key responsibilities include gathering business requirements, designing data models and workflows, developing custom UI/BRF+ components, building interfaces (ALE, web services) for data replication, supporting testing, and contributing to data governance initiatives.
Requirement Analysis: Gather and analyze business requirements to define data governance processes, data models, and workflows for master data domains.
Solution Design: Propose and design end-to-end SAP MDG solutions, recommending best approaches from a technical and functional feasibility perspective.
Process Design: Responsible for process design, configuration, and making solution recommendations for complex, multi-vendor environments.
Documentation: Prepare business blueprint documents, functional specifications, configuration documents, and training materials.
Testing: Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets business needs.
Data Governance: Advise on data standards, contribute to data quality initiatives, and ensure system compliance with regulatory requirements.
Technical Responsibilities
Configuration: Configure SAP MDG frameworks, including data models, UI, BRF+ rules, derivations, and validations.
Custom Development: Develop and enhance custom objects using ABAP, including user exits, BAdIs, and MDG-specific enhancements.
Data Model & Enhancement: Perform data model enhancements, implement UI and BRF+ enhancements, and manage data transfer (DIF/DEF).
Replication: Design and implement data replication frameworks (DRF) and build interfaces via SOA, ALE, and web services for seamless data distribution.
Workflows: Configure rule-based workflows for master data approval processes.
Problem-Solving: Provide technical support, assess recurring issues, and find permanent fixes for master data management challenges.
SME Role: Act as a subject matter expert for MDG within the organization, providing guidance and support.
Domain Knowledge: Possess expertise in specific master data domains like Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Experience: Experience in data management or a similar role. Experience with SAP Information Steward is preferred.
Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in data analysis tools. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with various teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to deliver high quality and reliable software by collaborating with team. Outstanding analytical skills, ability to apply expertise to drive complex, technical and highly commercial solutions. Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing& demonstrations including issues, status reports and resolving impediments.
