Job Description
- Evaluate patient medical histories before imaging procedures.
- Suggest alternative imaging techniques if required.
- Explain the imaging process to patients.
- Operate and supervise use of CT scanners, MRI machines, X-rays, and ultrasounds.
- Direct radiology staff in image-guided diagnostic procedures.
- Collaborate with lab technicians to ensure optimal image quality.
- Interpret diagnostic images and determine diagnoses.
- Communicate results and findings with physicians.
- Compile detailed reports of results and diagnoses.
- Follow medical protocols for emergencies (resuscitation, bleeding, infection, etc.).
