Job Description
- Evaluate patients' medical histories to ensure safety for imaging procedures.
- Suggest alternative imaging techniques when necessary.
- Inform and counsel patients about the imaging process.
- Operate and guide the use of devices such as CT scanners, MRI machines, and ultrasound equipment.
- Perform or supervise image-guided diagnostic procedures.
- Collaborate with radiology technicians to ensure high-quality imaging.
- Interpret diagnostic imaging results to determine accurate diagnoses.
- Communicate findings with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Compile detailed written reports of diagnostic results.
