Consultant Quality Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong knowledge of the Life Insurance domain and hands-on experience working with Life Asia systems. The candidate will be responsible for creating detailed test scenarios, managing requirement traceability, driving test walkthroughs, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure successful system integration and user acceptance testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive Test Scenarios and Test Cases based on Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
• Create and maintain the Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to track testing coverage.
• Independently lead test pack walkthroughs with various stakeholders including developers, business analysts, and IT teams.
• Identify and select appropriate Regression Test cases and those suitable for automation based on defined criteria.
• Create and update test data sets for automation scripts, including generating dynamic input values using formulas, database queries, and calculators.
• Execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
• Report and track defects, coordinating with developers and business analysts for timely resolution and SLA compliance.
• Conduct test result walkthroughs and obtain sign-offs from relevant stakeholders.
• Perform Impact Analysis to understand and mitigate risks from changes or new implementations.
• Maintain strong knowledge of Insurance Workflow Systems and business processes related to Life Insurance.

Skills & Experience:

• 4 to 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst with exposure to Life Asia platforms and Life Insurance domain.
• Strong understanding of BRD/FSD documentation and test design principles.
• Hands-on experience in SIT and UAT phases.
• Ability to create and maintain detailed traceability matrices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with defect management and test execution tracking.
• Good analytical and impact assessment capabilities.
