Consultant - Ophthalmology

• Evaluate patients with eye conditions, to determine appropriate treatment options
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, which may include medication, surgery, and other non-surgical interventions
• Perform surgical procedures on the eye, such as cataract removal, laser eye surgery, and corneal transplants
• Monitor patients during surgery to ensure safe administration of anaesthesia and identify any adverse reactions or complications
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including optometrists and other ophthalmologists, to provide comprehensive care to patients with eye conditions
• Provide emergency care to patients who require urgent intervention, such as trauma victims or patients with acute medical conditions
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, patient progress, and any adverse reactions or complications
