Inviting applications for the role of Consultant - MDM DQ & Governance Analyst, MDM
In this role, we are looking for a senior manager with knowledge on Data Quality, Governance in domains such as Finance, Material, Vendor/Supplier and Customer Master Data. You will be responsible for all the activities related to MDM domain.
Responsibilities
Define and deliver plan for data quality controls remediation. Ensure alignment and adoption of this plan with stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Compliance and Operational Risk. Align the strategy with the wider requirements for DQ Standards to ensure a consistent operating model
Define and implement DQ controls to ensure ongoing compliance with DQ Standard requirements. Ensure considerations such as new business, systems and products are appropriately risk assessed for their potential impact on DQ risks.
Define, groom and deliver reports aligned to the DQ Management strategy, including the remediation of elevated risks. Define global control standards and roll outs, with focus on establishing controls around data with known quality issues. Ensure ongoing monitoring are in place to ensure adherence to these control standards.
Work across Business/Function boundaries, to identify best practices and ensure efficient use of resources in managing DQ. Be able to communicate and represent the key DQ Management processes to key stakeholders across Technology, Compliance and Operational Risk.
Work within the client team to ensure G staff are appropriately skilled, motivated and enabled to deliver and maintain a high-quality control environment across the data quality management processes. Ensure that appropriate training is provided for those impacted
Define and oversee implementation of appropriate daily monitoring and management of DQ management activities to ensure operational and compliance risks are effectively mitigated. Define and evolve DQ controls reporting and key metrics for stakeholders, including relevant forums and committees. Ensure change activity is actively risk managed, holding to account delivery to plans and standards set and defined by data governance.
Develop a deep understanding of the DQ risk management processes and governance processes within CIB and leverage these to ensure that the DQ management risks are appropriately captured and escalated. Lead Operational Risk control framework assessments/updates for DQ management processes and associated controls remediation, in partnership with relevant control and compliance functions.
Provide areas of operational improvement, digital solutions (Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning) and technology implementations such as SAP ECC/SAP S4 Hana
Ability to link master data issues/challenges to business processes, problems, and analytics
Shown capability to collaborate, conduct, and lead sessions with Business and IT resources
Have an understanding of standards and processes in ERP such as SAP
Exposure to Reporting, Analytics, and data lake environments. Applies knowledge and skills to conduct sophisticated and systematic analyses of data to produce insights
Meaningful experience in MDM consulting, Data Governance with knowledge across multiple data domains
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the confirmed ability to connect with all levels including management and retail partners.
Brings in a clear understanding of how Finish Product /Article Master Data can impact various processes of any company i.e. Linkage of Finish Product Master Data to various Business Processes
Very good understanding of the E2E and Finance activities and impact of MDM work to the downstream process
Establish and facilitate cross-functional Supplier/customer/finance and Data Governance client vision & expectations
Should have abilities to perform quality audits on timely basis to validate and ensure the process in executed with error free and high-quality data standards.

Minimum Qualifications
Experience - Relevant Experience in Master Data Management
Education: Any Bachelor's/Master's degree
Good Working Knowledge and hands on in SAP S4 HANA /ECC
Highly motivated and bring both the practical experience of implementing solutions in Master Data Management & Data Governance and the flair for developing transformations and new insights.
You possess strong communication skills and a good sense of responsibility
Flexible with Shift timings
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Should be strong in operations, DQ& Governance.
Good understanding of transition methodology
Ability to identify process improvement areas
Influencing skills, Creative thinking/innovative mind-set
Good eye for business and understanding of business issues across multiple sectors
Demonstrate a solid grasp of the lean six sigma framework to drive continuous performance improvement.
Primary Industry knowledge in insurance, banking & financial services
