Consultant – Interventional Cardiologist (DM / DNB Cardiology)
Job Description
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures under supervision, including CAG and cardiac catheterization.
Conduct independent coronary and non-coronary interventions such as elective and primary PTCA, coronary angioplasty (radial/femoral), IVUS, cutting balloon angioplasty, IVC filter placement, pericardial tapping, and renal PTA.
Assist principal consultants in complex procedures including carotid angioplasty, BMV, percutaneous alcohol septal ablations, endovascular graft repair, and ROTA.
Conduct independent OPD consultations, evaluate patients, and provide primary diagnosis and treatment plans.
Perform recovery rounds in wards and ICUs, monitoring post-procedure patient care.
Serve as Clinical Research Investigator, managing patient enrollment, protocol adherence, follow-ups, and coordinating revisits for interventional cardiology clinical trials.
Participate in bimonthly screening camps to identify patients with cardiac conditions and plan referrals for interventions or diagnostics.
Collaborate with doctors and medical teams to ensure effective patient care.
