Consultant - Intervention Cardiologist - (DM / DNB ) Cardiology

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures including Coronary Angiography (CAG) and Cardiac Catheterization.
• Independently perform coronary and non-coronary interventions such as:
• Elective and Primary PTCA
• Coronary Angioplasty (radial and femoral approach)
• IVUS
• Cutting Balloon Angioplasty
• IVC Filter insertion
• Pericardiocentesis (Pericardial Tapping)
• Renal PTA
• Assist the Principal Consultant in advanced procedures including:
• Carotid Angioplasty
• Balloon Mitral Valvotomy (BMV)
• Percutaneous Alcohol Septal Ablation
• Endovascular Graft Repair
• Rotablation (ROTA)
• Conduct independent OPD consultations including patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Perform daily ward and ICU recovery rounds to monitor post-procedure patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in cardiac screening camps and refer patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Work closely with Cath Lab teams to ensure smooth procedural workflow and patient safety.

Clinical Research Responsibilities

• Act as Clinical Research Investigator in Interventional Cardiology trials.
• Enroll eligible patients into clinical studies as per protocol.
• Ensure trials are conducted in compliance with approved clinical protocols and ethical guidelines.
• Coordinate follow-ups and patient revisits post discharge.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for research activities.
