Component Engineer (Information Technology)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain material master and EBOM data in PLM and ERP systems.
• Ensure data integrity across SAP and PLM systems, supporting internal stakeholders and external channels.
• Assist mechanical and electrical engineering teams with MM and EBOM creation and updates.
• Implement quality control measures to verify accuracy and completeness of master data.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, business rules, and PLM/SAP data standards.
• Extract, transform, and validate material data from engineering tools.
• Release MM, BoM, and DIR using the approved Engineering Change Management (ECM) process.
• Estimate project timelines, document outcomes, and manage assigned projects independently.
• Support data governance, cleansing, and mass data update initiatives.
