Job Description
- Supports day-to-day execution of general ledger processes and assists clients with understanding these processes.
- Performs accounting functions such as account balancing, ledger reconciliation, reporting, and discrepancy resolution.
- Coordinates and implements accounting work and projects as assigned.
- Coordinates Accounting SOP audits for all areas of the property.
- Complies with Federal and State laws regarding fraud and collection procedures.
- Generates and provides accurate, timely reports and presentations.
- Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
- Compiles, codes, categorizes, calculates, tabulates, audits, or verifies information or data.
- Balances credit card ledgers and verifies contracts for groups.
- Performs credit reference checks for direct billed groups when necessary.
- Achieves and exceeds goals, including performance, budget, and team goals.
- Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
- Ensures timely submission of reports and ensures delivery deadlines are met.
- Monitors taxes and ensures they are current, collected, or accrued.
- Maintains a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets.
- Completes period-end functions and ensures profits and losses are documented accurately.
- Provides direction and assistance regarding accounting and budgeting policies and procedures.
