Community Mobiliser

Roles:

• To sensitize the fisher communities on FFPOs
• To facilitate mobilizing to shareholders from the potential fisher farmers
• To facilitate the incorporation of the FFPOs at desired blocks of the states
• To organize trainings and capacity building activities for the stakeholders of the FFPO
• To facilitate market linkages and credit linkages to the FPPOs
• To organize FIGs formation and management meetings
• To provide inputs required for updating of the MIS
• To oversee and assist the FFPOs in day to day operations

Scope of Work :

• Facilitate Constitution of the Board/Governing Body and Management Committee of the FFPO Cooperative
• Facilitate in identification of key manpower, especially the CEO/Manager by the FFPO Cooperative;
• Accelerate Membership drive;
• Registration of the FFPO with the authority under applicable Cooperative Act of the State or under Companies Act 2013;
• Preparation Of product-specific Business Plan for the FFPO;
• Facilitating the FFPO in availing maximum eligible amount of Equity Grant Assistance available under the scheme;
• Facilitate Institutional credit linkage;
• Facilitate in issuing of share certificate to the members/shareholders within the stipulated time frame;
• Developing alternate and effective market linkages, market advisory market connectivity;
• Facilitating FFPOs in ensuring timely submission of statutory returns and related matters;
• Assist in regular interface with stakeholders viz., financial institutions. training, and Research & Development Institutions at the cluster level;
• Incubation/handholding services for sustainability;
• Assist Implementing Agency in maintaining MIS & generating and data sheets
