Commercial Manager Chemical

Responsibilities:

• Develop financial plans including budgeting and forecasting for short-term and long-term business objectives.
• Analyze business performance, including profitability, revenue, pricing, and cost of goods sold.
• Manage budgets, expenses, pricing, and commercial arrangements to ensure financial efficiency.
• Take a lead role in advising on pricing for commercial contracts.
• Drive operational efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and are delivered within budget.
• Partner with business managers to drive overall financial performance.
• Support the Sales and Marketing departments by conducting detailed analysis of commercial opportunities.
• Prepare financial models to assess future profitability of identified opportunities.
• Supervise staff, often including Management or Divisional Accountants, and review their work for accuracy.
• Take a lead role in solving commercial issues that may arise during operations.
