Commerce Developer – S/4HANA

Commerce Cloud Development

• Design and develop features on SAP Commerce Cloud using Java, Spring, and platform extensions.

• Implement custom modules, storefront components, OCC services, and backoffice configurations.

• Develop product catalog structures, SOLR search features, promotions, checkout flows, and order management logic.

Integration with S/4HANA

• Develop and support real-time and batch integrations via SAP CPI / Integration Suite, REST/OData services, and IDoc-based integrations.

• Build integration components for customer data, orders, pricing, inventory, promotions, and product master data.

Architecture & Design

• Participate in solution design, technical architecture discussions, and blueprinting workshops.

• Ensure code quality, performance, scalability, and security alignment with best practices.

• Troubleshoot complex issues across commerce, middleware, and S/4 endpoints.

Testing & Delivery

• Support SIT, UAT, performance testing, and production readiness.

• Collaborate with QA teams to validate integration flows.

• Perform code reviews and adhere to CI/CD pipelines.

Collaboration

• Work with cross-functional teams including S/4HANA SD/MM, Middleware, Basis, and Business stakeholders.

• Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives).

• Provide technical guidance to junior developers.
