Job Description
- Install, configure, and upgrade Cognos and Informatica application components, including servers, clients, and related tools
- Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of Cognos and Informatica environments
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Cognos and Informatica applications, databases, servers, and integrations
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery planning, and implementation
- Implement and enforce best practices for Cognos and Informatica administration, security, and performance tuning
- Manage user access, roles, and permissions within Cognos and Informatica environments
- Coordinate with vendors for product support, patches, upgrades, and license management
