CNC Programmer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for 5-axis machining centres using Delcam /Solid CAM/ Mastercam software.
• Create tool paths for various machine tools such as VMC, HMC, and CNC lathes.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to create accurate and efficient machining processes.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability and quality of aerospace and defense components.
• Conduct simulations and tests to validate CNC programs and ensure precision and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming and machining processes.
• Maintain and update CNC programming documentation and records.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in CNC programming and machining technologies.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience as a Master Cam Programmer, particularly with 5-axis CNC programming.
• Expertise in aerospace and defense-related projects.
• Proficiency in Mastercam / Delcam/Solid cam software.
• Strong understanding of VMC, HMC, and CNC lathe operations.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
