Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Sourcing Activities:
  • Oversee the identification and outreach to potential UCO (Used Cooking Oil) sources within your assigned cluster (restaurants, hotels, food manufacturers).
  • Meet and exceed sourcing targets by effectively sourcing and securing UCO supply partnerships.
  • Lead Sales & Negotiation Efforts:
  • Take the lead in client engagement, conducting discovery calls, and negotiating contracts for long-term UCO supply agreements.
  • Ensure contracts are finalized and executed efficiently, maintaining a strong relationship with clients.
  • Team Collaboration & Coordination:
  • Collaborate closely with sourcing teams, operations, and logistics to ensure smooth and timely UCO collection.
  • Ensure that operations are in line with company standards and FSSAI regulations under the RUCO (Recycled Used Cooking Oil) initiative.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance:
  • Monitor all sourcing activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and FSSAI regulations.
  • Ensure high-quality UCO supply while maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental impact.
  • Strategic Planning & Reporting:
  • Track and monitor sourcing performance, keeping detailed records of activities.
  • Work with senior management to adjust and refine sourcing strategies based on market feedback and data analysis.
  • Leadership & Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of sourcing executives within your cluster.
  • Drive performance, ensure alignment with company goals, and support sustainability objectives in all sourcing activities.
  • Market Insights:
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging market opportunities, and competitor activities.
  • Continuously optimize sourcing strategies and processes to keep up with market dynamics.

Candidate Profile:

  • Leadership & Sales Skills:
  • Proven experience in managing teams, sales performance, and client relationships within a similar role.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of driving team success.
  • Communication & Negotiation:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation abilities with a focus on client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Strategic Thinking & Self-Motivation:
  • A self-driven, proactive approach to achieving business goals.
  • Ability to think strategically for long-term business growth and sustainability.
  • Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Prior experience in waste management, food industries, or biofuel sectors is advantageous.
