CloudOps Trainee Security

We are seeking a CloudOps Trainee with a focus on security to provide first-level support for our security monitoring operations. This role is ideal for a candidate who has a foundational understanding of security principles and a desire to grow their career in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for monitoring security tools and assisting with event and incident management activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Security Monitoring: Provide first-level support for security monitoring by actively monitoring various security tools.
• Incident Management: Support security event and incident management activities, assisting in the timely response to potential threats.
• Troubleshooting: Utilize basic security knowledge to help identify and address issues as they arise.

Required Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Technical Skills:
• Basic level knowledge of security topics is required.
• Familiarity with Anti-virus and IDS/IPS (Intrusion Detection System/Intrusion Prevention System) systems.
• Certifications: Security Certifications/Trainings such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
