Cloud Security

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Serve as a point of contact to support service owners in maintaining a strong cloud security posture
• Develop and maintain custom scripts to enforce CSPM (Cloud Security Posture Management) policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build new security capabilities and integrate controls
• Identify opportunities for automation and improvement to eliminate manual or repetitive work
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation

Primary Skills (Mandatory):

• 3+ years hands-on experience administering AWS
• Strong understanding of public cloud services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, etc.
• Proficient with AWS CLI for service management
• Hands-on with Terraform for infrastructure automation
• Experience with CI/CD tools, e.g., GitHub – including use of repositories, branches, commits, pull requests
• Scripting skills in Python (or similar scripting language)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-cultural teams

Mandatory Skills:

• Cloud Security

Secondary / Desired Skills:

• Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA)
• Ability to create/test custom policies using Resource Query Language (RQL)
• Desired certifications (good to have but not mandatory):
• Certified Cloud Security Engineer (CCSE)
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (SAA-C03)
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty (SCS-C02)

Good to Have:

• Experience with administration and troubleshooting of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems
