We are looking for a seasoned Manager to join the Cloud Modernization Team, driving large‑scale application modernization across multi‑cloud footprint (Azure, AWS, GCP). The role focuses on refactoring legacy applications, enabling cloud‑ready architectures, and accelerating modernization using AI‑driven engineering accelerators.
Key Responsibilities
• Modernize applications across Java, Python, WebLogic, JBOSS, and other legacy stacks for cloud readiness (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Design and implement modernization patterns such as JDK upgrades, WebLogic/JBoss to WildFly migration, HTTP→HTTPS, API optimization.
• Apply AI‑driven modernization tools such as GHCP, prompt‑library accelerators, and workflow engines
• Partner with app teams, cloud migration PMO, architects, and business owners to deliver modernization outcomes aligned with cloud migration timelines.
• Provide technical leadership, solution design, and guidance across multiple applications in parallel.
• Participate in modernization assessments, sizing, code analysis, and remediation.
• Ensure adherence to cloud readiness criteria, modernization guidelines, and funding rules.
Required Skills
• 12-15 years of experience in enterprise application engineering or modernization.
• Strong hands‑on experience in Java Fullstack and Python
• Experience with legacy app servers (WebLogic, JBOSS) and modernization frameworks.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and migration constraints.
• Knowledge of modernization patterns—code refactoring, API upgrades, security uplift, and dependency modernization.
• Experience using AI‑driven engineering tools for code modernization.
• Strong debugging, reverse‑engineering, and root‑cause analysis skills.
Nice to Have
• Experience with large‑scale migration programs or data‑center exit initiatives.
• Understanding of containers, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
• Ability to handle modernization with missing or partial source code.
