Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Advanced Wound Care Management: Provide expert care in wound management, including the application of specialized dressings and advanced dressing techniques for various wound types.
- Patch Application: Skillfully apply medical patches as per prescribed protocols, ensuring correct placement and patient comfort.
- Operating Theater (OT) Assistance: Provide professional assistance in the Operating Theater, supporting surgical procedures and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Nursing Care: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients, adhering to best practices and clinical guidelines.
- Patient Education & Support: Educate patients and their families on wound care, post-operative instructions, and disease management, particularly concerning Diabetic Foot Ulcers.
- DFU Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFU) for effective assessment, treatment, and preventive care.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care and optimal outcomes.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in the application of medical patches.
- Expertise in advanced dressing techniques.
- Ability to provide assistance in the Operating Theater (OT Assist).
- Strong foundational knowledge and practical skills in Nursing.
- Specialized knowledge and experience in Wound Care Management.
- In-depth knowledge about Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFU).
- Educational background: Graduation (BSc Nursing preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a clinical environment.
