Civil Engineer - Material Management

Qualification:

• Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering

Experience: 5 - 7 years experience in interior restoration, construction/ interior fit out related procurement, estimation, Billing, etc.

Job Description

• Maintaining and reviewing records of inventories, deliveries, costs and items purchased.
• To ensure that right materials are available at the right time and in the right quantities.
• As per the material Indent received, the quotes from various vendors will have to be invited. Comparisons will be submitted to HOD for further processing.
• If there is a rate contract. Then PI will be invited from the vendors, as per the indent and will have to be submitted to HOD for further processing.
• Once the indent is approved, then PR and PO processing will be done in SAP.
• To get the PO authorized signature as per the prescribed format.
• Once the PO is authorized, it has to be sent to vendor/contractor, then follow-up for material delivery on site.
• Should maintain an Indent Tracker till delivery of material and update HOD on regular intervals regarding the status of indents.
• Processing the Advances/Payments, if any as per the PO terms.
• Registration of new Vendors/contractors as per the procedure laid down by SVKM.
• Any other work given by HOD from time to time
