Civil Designer II

• Operate under detailed instructions to provide essential technical knowledge and perform assigned civil design work

• Promote Fluor's competitiveness by delivering quality services with technical competence

• Work on design and perform layout of moderate scope to support the Design Area Lead or Lead

• Prepare 2D and 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings and models of moderate complexity

• Review drawings and survey documentation across disciplines for compliance with project requirements; actively resolve discrepancies

• Perform bulk material take-off analysis and tabulations

• Adhere to industry codes, standards, and departmental practices and procedures

• Design and model drainage systems and stormwater management solutions

• Participate in the design and modeling of utilities, earthworks, and grading layouts

• Conduct clash detection reviews between discipline models

• Prepare general arrangement and reinforcement detail drawings for concrete structures

• Verify site conditions and dimensions to ensure design accuracy

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, mechanical, piping, and electrical disciplines
