Civil Designer - A&F

We are seeking a Civil Designer with 1-10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Civil 3D and be responsible for detailed design work related to grading, pipe networks, underground utilities, and roadways. This role requires a proactive and dedicated individual who can work collaboratively to deliver high-quality engineering plans and project documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Civil 3D Design: Use Civil 3D to design plan and profiles for utilities, including creating and editing pipe networks, catch basin sizing, and waterline profiles. You'll also create, edit, and label alignments, corridors, and surfaces for roadway design.
• Drafting and Detailing: Prepare detailed drawings for underground utilities such as stormwater, sewer drainage, and water infrastructure. You will also review and draft rough sketches provided by project engineers and BIM managers.
• Coordination and Compliance: Coordinate with subconsultants and design engineers to ensure project success. You'll also be responsible for researching and following jurisdictional requirements and adhering to BIM and CAD standards.
• Project Management: Prepare and manage engineering plans and project documents, evaluate engineering alternatives, and resolve technical issues. You must be able to plan and execute work in a safe and timely manner.

Required Qualifications

• Education: An ITI or Diploma from a recognized institution.
• Experience: 1-10 years of experience in civil design, with a focus on detailing.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in Civil 3D, along with experience in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Navis Works. You should have comprehensive knowledge of CAD and BIM standards.
• Personal Attributes: You must be a hardworking, proactive, and dedicated individual with strong problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team are also essential.
