Cisco Security Adoption Specialist

This role is for a Cisco Security Adoption Specialist to drive the post-sales adoption and utilization of Cisco Security solutions. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical expert with strong communication skills, capable of delivering workshops, creating technical success plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure clients maximize the full capabilities of their security investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Adoption Enablement: Lead the post-sales adoption of Cisco Security solutions, ensuring clients are using the full capabilities of their products.
• Hands-on Onboarding: Deliver technical onboarding sessions and walkthroughs for key Cisco security products, including Duo, Umbrella, Secure Firewall, Intersight, and SecureX.
• Customer Workshops & Demos: Facilitate virtual workshops and conduct technical demonstrations tailored to specific use cases, helping customers adopt best practices.
• Create Technical Success Plans: Develop clear and actionable technical adoption roadmaps that align with Cisco use cases and enterprise goals.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Success and Sales teams to identify and drive expansion and retention opportunities.
• Customer Advocacy & Feedback: Act as a trusted advisor, providing valuable customer feedback to internal product teams to influence future product development.
• Continual Education: Keep clients informed about new feature updates, integrations, and enhancements that will benefit their security posture.

Skills & Experience

Required Skills:

• Direct expertise in Cisco Secure Firewall, Umbrella, SecureX, Duo, and Intersight.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, such as Zero Trust and SASE.
• Exceptional English communication skills (both verbal and written) for high-stakes enterprise client engagements.
• Experience in conducting technical demos, enablement sessions, or training for global stakeholders.
• Experience in post-sales technical roles (adoption, consulting, customer engineering) focused on Cisco Security.

Preferred Skills:

• Cisco certifications: CCNP Security or CCIE Security.
• Scripting knowledge (Python, Ansible) for automation use cases.
