Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure

Teamware Solutions is seeking a skilled Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) Specialist to design, implement, and manage our software-defined networking (SDN) solutions. This role is crucial for optimizing our data center network, ensuring application-centric policy enforcement, and contributing to the stability and scalability of our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• ACI Design & Implementation: Design, deploy, and configure Cisco ACI fabric, including APIC controllers, leaf/spine architecture, and integration with existing network infrastructure.
• Policy Management: Develop and implement application network profiles (ANPs), EPGs (Endpoint Groups), contracts, and bridge domains to achieve application-centric policy automation.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve complex issues within the ACI environment, including network connectivity, policy enforcement, and application performance problems.
• Integration: Integrate ACI with virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), cloud platforms, and other third-party tools.
• Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor ACI fabric health, performance, and resource utilization. Identify and implement optimizations to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
• Automation: Utilize ACI's northbound APIs (REST, Python SDK) for automation of network provisioning and policy management.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ACI designs, configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaboration: Work closely with application teams, server teams, and security teams to understand requirements and deliver seamless network services.
• Security: Implement security best practices within the ACI fabric, including micro-segmentation and firewall integration.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) concepts, architecture, and components (APIC, Leaf/Spine).
• Strong understanding of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) principles.
• Experience with ACI policy model, including EPGs, contracts, bridge domains, and VRFs.
• Knowledge of network protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VXLAN).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues in an ACI environment.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware vSphere).
• Experience with automation scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for technical discussions and collaboration.
