Chief Information Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Technology Strategy & Planning: Create and maintain IT and management strategies aligned with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.
• Service Delivery & Program Management: Oversee service delivery, program management, and project execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and service levels are met.
• Vendor & Outsourcing Management: Manage relationships with system integrators (SI), OEMs, and IT vendors to leverage technologies for business advantage.
• IT Infrastructure & Cloud Strategy: Implement IT infrastructure strategies for private and public cloud environments, ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• IT Transformation & Target Operating Model: Design and implement strategic IT transformation plans to enable new business initiatives, streamline operations, and reduce costs.
• IT Governance & Compliance: Ensure IT policies, data security (end-user, application, network, enterprise mail, and cloud storage), and governance frameworks are implemented and adhered to.
• Business Continuity & Risk Management: Develop and maintain major incident management and business continuity plans for IT systems.
• Budgeting & Resource Planning: Propose budgets for programs, projects, purchases, and technology upgrades; manage resources efficiently.
• Innovation & Technology Adoption: Identify, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies that provide competitive advantage.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor IT and information management teams, prioritize workloads, and enhance team capabilities.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with departments to ensure technology adoption aligns with business needs and profitability.
• Pre-sales & Government Tendering Support: Support strategic initiatives, pre-sales activities, and government tender processes as required.
