Chartered Accountant-Audit-Sox-Immediate Joiner

Key Responsibilities

• Lead/support FAAS projects including IPO, SPAC, PPA, Carve-outs, Fresh Start accounting
• Prepare & review financial statements, MD&A, GAAP conversions, accounting policies
• Perform technical accounting research, governance, remediation & readiness
• Conduct process optimization, reporting transformation & data integration projects
• Document current-state processes and help design future-state optimized workflows
• Assist in designing reporting templates, data connectors, validation rules & UAT
• Deliver training, ensure quality deliverables, and manage team performance
• Contribute to business development, client stakeholder management & practice growth

Skills & Expertise Required

• Strong knowledge of IFRS / US GAAP / UK GAAP
• Hands-on experience in:
• Transaction reporting (IPO, SPAC, Carve-outs, PPA)
• GAAP conversions
• Consolidation & close process support
• Financial reporting (Financial Close, SEC, iXBRL, ESG, SOX, Tax Reporting)
• Proficiency in Workiva (Wdesk/Wdata), Axiom or similar tools

Note: Candidates must be CA / ACCA / CPA qualified with strong exposure to IFRS, US GAAP, or UK GAAP. Candidates from Audit, Financial Reporting, or SOX backgrounds will also be considered. Only candidates with up to a 30-day notice period will be considered.
