Scope of Role

Required good CFD candidate who must have external aerodynamic CFD simulation experiences in automotive domain. Able to do the geometry simplification and meshing In ANSA independently and external aerodynamic simulation @ ANSYS Fluent.  He/she must have experience in this type simulation and able to provide design suggestion to improve the drag coefficient.

Area of Responsibility This position is responsible for carrying out external aero CFD simulations.

·        ANSYS Fluent Proficiency in Geometry cleanup, Meshing, Setting up large simulation models

·        Need to perform geometry clean and watertight model in ANSA.

·        Need to volume meshing in ANSYS FLUENT

·        Evaluate 3D CFD analysis results and provide feedback and design direction to vehicle program and design teams.

·        3 to 4 year of hands-on experience in external aerodynamic simulation

Knowledge / Experience – 3 to 4 years.

·        Automotive domain knowledge

·        Excellent in communication with clients

·        Debugging the simulation runs, post processing and report preparation

·        Automotive Thermal Simulation Background

·        M. Tech./ B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering/ Thermal Engineering/ Aerospace Engineering
