Job Description
Role & responsibilities
General:
- Competency in Supply Chain Management Logistics, Warehouse and CFA management.
- Manage an accurate inventory of CFA FG and other materials
- Schedule and track inbound and outgoing shipments
- Provide training to CFA personnel in SAP as per company guideline.
- Secondary Freight: To manage Secondary Transportation (CFA to SS/DRDS) & driving efficiencies across locations, Route planning & selection of right truck type. To conduct CFA level gap analysis and escalation of findings.
- Foster Innovation in process optimization by tracking and driving Performance metrics e.g., Indent Vs Placement, Truck Utilization, Transit Time Adherence, Shortage/ Damages Index etc. To implement alternate ways of working e.g. Rental Trucking Operation
Financial:
- To manage Warehouse Cost, selection of warehouses, negotiation of C&F expenses & management of overheads at warehouses.
- To track and validate market rates, secondary transportation rate negotiation, vendor development, finalization of agreements, etc.
- To explore mechanization related investments, deployment and efficiency calculation for future readiness and reduction of labor Dependency and lead CWH/CFA automation initiatives.
Customer:
- To drive PDP and Routing at CFA's whilst following up with Pending Orders, 95% + Fill Rates and freshness for all SKUs.
- To maintain secondary Transportation Master Data, Freight Rates, Routes, Distance etc. on Excel, SAP, and Transportation.
- Management System that quality standards are being maintained as per food safety norms at CFA/CWH.
- To drive the CFA SOPs and put in control mechanisms to ensure compliance, design and implement CFA Payment structure, CFA Audits.
Soft and IT Skill:
- Graduate degree + Post Graduate Diploma or MBA in SCM.
- Soft skill might include Team leadership, problem solving and adaptability.
- Prior 10+ years in FMCG Industry especially Foods & Beverages in the areas of warehouse & Secondary freight management. Knowledge.
- Good communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities
- Proficient in MS Office, inventory management software like SAP.
- Able to manage time effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
