CBTC Lead

• The position requires a Mechanical, Production, or Plastic Engineering graduate with proficiency in molding and casting tool development.
• Handle 2D or 3D designs and expertise in NX software and other designing software.
• Design and develop molds, die-casting tools for new part developments and projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects in running or new tools and perform root cause analysis.
• Plan capacity and tool replacements in a timely manner.
• Support drawing amendments (dimensional changes, raw material changes) initiated by R&D, obtain tool modification quotes from suppliers, and execute changes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Procurement, Quality Inspection, and Production teams.
• Resolve customer complaints and initiate cost reduction measures.
• Perform replacement budget planning, tool audits, supplier evaluations, and supplier VDA 6.3 audits.
• Ensure adherence to IMS (ISO and EHS) requirements and drive safety and productivity improvements at suppliers.
• Conduct internal audits and maintain communication and collaboration with local and international teams.
• Visit suppliers for initial evaluations, new part development, handling part amendments, resolving customer complaints, and eliminating production supply chain challenges.
• Maintain various system data and records.

Skills Required

• Proficiency in 2D or 3D design software, with a focus on NX software and related design tools.
• Strong experience in molding, die-casting tool design, and development.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and root cause defect analysis for new and running tools.
• Excellent capacity planning and tool replacement planning abilities.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience with teams like R&D, Procurement, Quality, and Production.
• Strong communication skills, with experience in resolving customer complaints and driving cost reduction measures.
• Familiarity with IMS (ISO and EHS) standards and conducting internal audits.
• Experience in supplier evaluations, VDA 6.3 audits, and tool modifications.
