Cardiologist/CTVS Surgeon

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to assess symptoms, medical history, and cardiovascular risk factors.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as ECG, echocardiography, stress tests, and angiography.
• Perform cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures as per clinical privileges.
• Assist in or independently perform complex cardiovascular interventions.
• Prescribe medications and recommend treatment or surgical options when necessary.
• Maintain detailed patient records including diagnosis, procedures, and follow-up plans.
• Monitor patients undergoing long-term cardiac care and adjust treatment accordingly.
• Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, anesthetists, and critical care teams for comprehensive care.
• Provide training and guidance to junior doctors and Cath Lab staff.
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, safety standards, and ethical medical practices.
