Capital Markets Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the structuring, execution, and closing of capital market transactions, including equity offerings, debt issuances, and syndicated loans.
• Perform financial modeling, valuation analysis, and deal structuring for public and private capital raises.
• Monitor financial markets and provide regular updates on trends, interest rates, credit spreads, and macroeconomic indicators.
• Prepare pitch books, investor presentations, and internal reports for stakeholders.
• Coordinate with legal, compliance, underwriting, and operations teams to support transaction execution.
• Conduct due diligence, research industry sectors, and maintain databases of market activity.
• Support strategic funding initiatives and capital planning processes.
• Track regulatory developments impacting capital markets (e.g., SEC, FINRA, Basel III).

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, or corporate finance.
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments (equities, bonds, derivatives) and capital raising processes.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.
• Strong research, analytical, and quantitative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, or Refinitiv (Thomson Reuters).
• Progress toward CFA or MBA (a plus).
• Familiarity with underwriting processes, SEC filings, and capital structure analysis.
• Understanding of global market trends and cross-border capital flows.
