Capacity Planning Manager

Infrastructure Analysis: Review and analyze IT infrastructure utilization trends including CPU, memory, network, storage, and other resources.

Threshold Monitoring: Understand reasons for resource level threshold hits and document observations by interacting with server teams, application teams, and other stakeholders.

Capacity Analysis: Analyze resource threshold hits and use knowledge and research methods for benchmarking.

Reporting & Dashboards: Build, analyze, and prepare capacity utilization reports and dashboards for management review.

Forecasting: Assess current and future business needs, and project/forecast future capacity requirements based on business plans, usage trends, and sizing of new services.

Performance Improvement: Provide trend analysis and suggest improvement plans specific to infrastructure performance and capacity.

Monitoring Tools Collaboration: Collaborate with monitoring tools to ensure proper configuration for capacity analysis and availability monitoring.

IT Availability Management: Monitor IT availability levels, compare actual levels against targets, and address any shortfalls.
