Job Description
- Support the delivery of category strategies and deployment of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs.
- Participate in developing sourcing strategies, including risk assessment and identification of key deliverables.
- Lead sourcing and negotiation activities for low- to medium-spend Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Analyze financial and commercial structures, engaging Legal and Finance as needed to ensure compliance and budget alignment.
- Collaborate with SOW owners to confirm renewal requirements and scope accuracy.
- Coordinate with project leads or vendor managers to ensure timely submission of purchase requests (PRs).
- Support Category Leads and Category Managers with SRM activities and handle assigned supplier relationships.
- Oversee PR and purchase order (PO) pipelines for the assigned category of spend.
- Review project pipelines, PR/PO approvals, and SOW approvals in systems like Fieldglass, liaising with Category Leads and Managers.
- Ensure all purchase requests comply with approval, contract, SOW, and supplier onboarding standards.
- Keep stakeholders updated on sourcing project statuses and progress.
- Conduct market and industry research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support sourcing activities across other categories as required, based on workload and business priorities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 4–6 years of experience in procurement or buying, preferably in IT Professional Services (developers, testers, system implementors, business analysts).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proven ability to build positive supplier relationships and influence stakeholders up to senior management level.
- Experience with market and category analysis to support sourcing decisions.
- Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook).
- Experience with procurement tools such as Ariba and Fieldglass is desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a proactive, collaborative mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with onshore and offshore teams.
