Job Title: Business Development Executive / Manager Recruitment & Staffing

Location: Mumbai, India

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development professional from the recruitment and staffing industry to join our Mumbai office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new clients, growing business from existing accounts, and driving revenue growth in a competitive HR services market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities for recruitment and staffing solutions across industries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HR heads, hiring managers, and CXOs of target companies.
  • Understand client hiring needs and propose customized recruitment solutions (permanent, contract staffing, RPO, etc.).
  • Pitch services effectively through cold calling, networking, client meetings, and online platforms.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of competitor offerings, market trends, and service positioning.
  • Collaborate with the delivery/recruitment team to ensure successful and timely fulfillment of client requirements.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, career fairs, and networking meets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of proven BD experience in the recruitment/staffing industry.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes and client servicing.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of the Mumbai corporate landscape and hiring ecosystem.

Preferred:

  • Existing network of HR decision-makers across industries in Mumbai.
  • Experience handling large enterprise or mid-market clients.
  • Exposure to IT/Non-IT recruitment verticals is a plus.
