Business Intelligence Developer

We're hiring a Business Intelligence Developer to join our product-based fintech organization. This role requires strong expertise in data integration, reporting, and database management, with responsibilities spanning the full project lifecycle.

Direct Responsibilities

• Possess excellent working knowledge of SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
• Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of SQL / PL-SQL with both Oracle and MS SQL databases.
• Be responsible for the analysis, development, and deployment of BI solutions.
• Analyze requirements in coordination with the Business Analyst team.
• Contribute to projects across the full software development lifecycle.
• Provide accurate estimates for development workloads.
• Design and implement technical requirements for BI solutions.
• Produce standard technical documentation for all developed components.
• Participate in Production Support activities (Level 2).
• Exhibit excellent troubleshooting capabilities and ensure a good turnaround time for issue resolution.
• Provide support to Business Analysts during the integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.

Contributing Responsibilities

• Contribute towards innovation and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Support the upskilling and development of other team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in SSIS and SSRS.
• Strong command of SQL / PL-SQL across Oracle and MS SQL databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git/Bitbucket.
• Ability to work effectively on full life-cycle projects.
• Strong analytical skills for requirements gathering and problem-solving.
• Excellent troubleshooting capabilities.
• Knowledge of Python is a plus.
