- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and failure analysis to maintain high-quality standards across the product lifecycle.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with product management, sales, and customer support teams to understand market needs and ensure engineering solutions meet customer requirements.
- Serve as a key technical representative in client meetings and presentations, providing expert guidance and addressing technical challenges.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to identify and engage with suppliers of critical components (e.g., semiconductors, magnetics, thermal solutions).
Cost Optimization & Vendor Management
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through design optimization, strategic sourcing, and value engineering.
- Collaborate with procurement and vendor teams to ensure the availability of high-quality components at competitive prices.
- Evaluate and approve new suppliers and manufacturing partners to maintain product quality and supply chain efficiency.
Skills Required
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field (PhD is a plus).
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in power electronics engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally in the automotive industry.
- Strong expertise in designing and developing power electronics systems for electric vehicles, including DC-DC converters, inverters, and motor controllers.
