Business Domain - Telecom / MySQL

Teamware Solutions is seeking a skilled professional for the Business Domain - Telecom, MySQL role. This position is crucial for leveraging data and domain expertise to support our telecommunications operations. The successful candidate will work with relevant technologies, ensuring smooth data-driven operations, and contributing significantly to business objectives through analysis, development, implementation, and troubleshooting within the Telecom business domain with a focus on MySQL.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Business Analysis (Telecom): Understand and analyze complex business requirements and processes specific to the telecommunications industry (e.g., billing, customer data, network operations, service provisioning, revenue assurance).
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to telecom business performance. Develop and generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
• MySQL Database Operations: Work extensively with MySQL databases, including writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Data Model Understanding: Understand existing database schemas and data models within the telecom domain, particularly those implemented in MySQL.
• Development Support: Collaborate with development teams to ensure data structures and solutions align with business needs. Potentially assist in designing database components for new applications or features.
• Implementation Support: Support the implementation of new business processes or system enhancements by ensuring data readiness and integrity.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies, reporting issues, and database performance problems related to the telecom domain.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains through data analysis and improved use of MySQL data.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for data sources, data flows, analytical methodologies, and key business insights.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other analysts to deliver data-driven solutions that address telecom-specific challenges.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Telecom Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of the telecommunications industry, including its business processes, key performance indicators (KPIs), and challenges.
• MySQL Expertise: Proficient in MySQL database management, including advanced SQL querying, stored procedures, and understanding of database performance.
• Data Analysis Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large and complex datasets to provide actionable business insights.
• Reporting Tools (Plus): Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for creating impactful reports and dashboards.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve data-related issues efficiently.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
