Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business growth plan for Dielectric.
- Responsible for yearly Dielectric revenue targets and increasing the number of new accounts.
- Identify new market opportunities with existing key customers, develop new customer partners, and create business partnerships through research.
- Customer and Market Engagement:
- Proactively seek information about customer business, application challenges, and production bottlenecks.
- Provide solutions in consultation with the Customer Group Manager (CGM) Technical Service.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and consumer preferences to drive innovation and improvement.
- Sales and Negotiations:
- Negotiate favorable commercial agreements with end customers and distributors.
- Collaborate with the CGM to ensure competitive pricing and business terms.
- Validate recommended Sika solutions through customer trials and tests.
- Customer Relations and Support:
- Address customer complaints promptly and devise sustainable improvement plans.
- Organize customer events to update key accounts on global innovations and best practices.
- Conduct regular communication with customers to understand needs and provide solutions.
- Forecasting and Reporting:
- Establish and provide periodic forecasts to the supply chain to manage inventory and ensure timely customer deliveries.
- Ensure timely collection of receivables from customers.
- Analyze sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of business development efforts and suggest improvements.
- Present regular reports on business development activities to the reporting manager.
- Contribute to team objectives as required.
Key Skills Required:
- Experience in Sales, Business Development, and Key Account Management roles with a minimum of 10 years in related industries.
- In-depth familiarity with Polymers, Electrical applications, and industry knowledge (preferably).
- Strong understanding of the Indian auto and consumer market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated self-starter and ability to work independently or within a team.
- Ability to build and leverage networks effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Qualifications:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Polymers, Electronics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- MBA preferred.
- Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, and Key Account Management.
