Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business growth plan for Dielectric.
  • Responsible for yearly Dielectric revenue targets and increasing the number of new accounts.
  • Identify new market opportunities with existing key customers, develop new customer partners, and create business partnerships through research.
  • Customer and Market Engagement:
  • Proactively seek information about customer business, application challenges, and production bottlenecks.
  • Provide solutions in consultation with the Customer Group Manager (CGM) Technical Service.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and consumer preferences to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Sales and Negotiations:
  • Negotiate favorable commercial agreements with end customers and distributors.
  • Collaborate with the CGM to ensure competitive pricing and business terms.
  • Validate recommended Sika solutions through customer trials and tests.
  • Customer Relations and Support:
  • Address customer complaints promptly and devise sustainable improvement plans.
  • Organize customer events to update key accounts on global innovations and best practices.
  • Conduct regular communication with customers to understand needs and provide solutions.
  • Forecasting and Reporting:
  • Establish and provide periodic forecasts to the supply chain to manage inventory and ensure timely customer deliveries.
  • Ensure timely collection of receivables from customers.
  • Analyze sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of business development efforts and suggest improvements.
  • Present regular reports on business development activities to the reporting manager.
  • Contribute to team objectives as required.

Key Skills Required:

  • Experience in Sales, Business Development, and Key Account Management roles with a minimum of 10 years in related industries.
  • In-depth familiarity with Polymers, Electrical applications, and industry knowledge (preferably).
  • Strong understanding of the Indian auto and consumer market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated self-starter and ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Ability to build and leverage networks effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Qualifications:
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Polymers, Electronics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Skills/Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, and Key Account Management.
