Job Description
A Business Development Manager for Corporate Solutions is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new corporate clients through market research, lead generation, and relationship building. Key duties include developing strategic sales plans, presenting and negotiating solutions, managing the entire sales cycle from lead to closure, and collaborating with internal teams to meet business objectives.
Core responsibilities
- Business and market analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, potential clients, and solutions that align with the company's goals.
- Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential corporate clients by understanding their needs and acting as the primary point of contact.
- Sales strategy and execution: Develop and implement business development and sales strategies to drive revenue, set sales targets, and manage the entire sales pipeline.
- Proposal and presentation: Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that showcase the company's solutions to prospective clients and decision-makers.
- Deal closure: Negotiate and close deals by leveraging strong negotiation skills and collaborating with internal teams, such as legal and technical experts.
- Collaboration and reporting: Work with internal departments like marketing and sales to ensure aligned goals and provide regular reports on sales performance and pipeline progress to senior leadership.
Key qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, corporate sales, or a similar B2B sales role.
- Strong understanding of corporate markets and the ability to identify and develop strategic partnerships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a results-oriented environment.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is often required.
