Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in the market research space.
- Conduct market analysis to identify potential clients, industries, and emerging trends.
- Leverage networks, industry events, and research databases to source leads.
Sales of Ad Hoc & Custom Research Solutions
- Understand client requirements and propose tailored ad hoc research solutions.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients.
- Negotiate terms and close deals while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations.
- Follow up consistently to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Market & Industry Knowledge
- Stay updated on market research industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging methodologies.
- Provide feedback to internal teams on client needs, trends, and market intelligence.
Reporting & Collaboration
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline records, forecasts, and reports.
- Collaborate with internal research, analytics, and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
Skills We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in business development and sales in the market research or analytics domain.
- Deep understanding of ad hoc/custom research solutions and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, set targets, and achieve aggressive sales goals.
- Networking skills and the ability to develop new client relationships.
