Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities in the market research space.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential clients, industries, and emerging trends.
  • Leverage networks, industry events, and research databases to source leads.

Sales of Ad Hoc & Custom Research Solutions

  • Understand client requirements and propose tailored ad hoc research solutions.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Follow up consistently to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Market & Industry Knowledge

  • Stay updated on market research industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging methodologies.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on client needs, trends, and market intelligence.

Reporting & Collaboration

  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline records, forecasts, and reports.
  • Collaborate with internal research, analytics, and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects.

Skills We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in business development and sales in the market research or analytics domain.
  • Deep understanding of ad hoc/custom research solutions and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, set targets, and achieve aggressive sales goals.
  • Networking skills and the ability to develop new client relationships.
