In this role you will support Target's Item CoE team in growing their data and analytics capabilities allowing them to achieve their operational and strategic goals

com, improving accuracy and quality of item information, sunsetting items at the end of their lifecycle seamlessly, improving guest engagement and as a result profitability by creating quality content for items online, standardizing the categorization of items, and other strategic initiatives which improve operational efficiency and execution quality and timeliness
As a Data Analyst you will: Support to collaborate with business users to understand the problem, find relevant data, design, develop, validate and test scalable solutions to solve problems
Support to Gather required data and prepare dataset for analysis, perform data analysis to support business decision-making, validate findings and conclusions using secondary data sources and analytical approaches and communicate findings to business stakeholders
Support to Troubleshoot any discrepancies and enhance and/or improve performance of existing solutions when needed Support to Play an active role in facilitating cross functional partnership Follow appropriate best practices and document analytical methodologies used in the execution of analytical projects Adhere to corporate information protection standards

Requirements:

4 year degree or equivalent experience (Degree in technical/analytics field preferred)3+ years of experience in reporting and data visualization - Domo/Tableau Exposure to web analytics, A/B testing or using Adobe/google analytics to build reports Exposure working with large data sets Ability to speak to both business and technical teams, and translate ideas between them Comfort with ambiguity and open-ended problems in support of digital operations Problem solving and analytical skillsets Must be comfortable with taking calls until 8:00 PM
Must have - SQL, Reporting skills, basics of excel Must have - At least 1-2 years of experience in Web analytics, A/B testing, Adobe or Google Analytics Nice to have - Experience with R , python , Hadoop, Hive
