Job Description
Summary:
The Client requires a strong quantitative/qualitative Business Analyst in the Change space to lead several initiatives. In this function, the Business Analyst is responsible for high-quality analysis, designing user acceptance testing, ensuring the risk projects are delivered on time, and providing user support for various projects focused on IFRS9 Risk and Transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Execute the IFRS9 Book of Work for 2026 and beyond, encompassing re-platforming, development of new models, data management, and external/enterprise transformation projects.
- Conduct business analysis to define a comprehensive data analytics suite in collaboration with stakeholders across the Finance department.
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with ECG, External projects, and Technology, Risk and Analytics teams on SAS platforms to deliver the necessary IFRS9 components.
- Analyze and document business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and alignment with IFRS9 standards.
- Develop detailed business requirement documents that thoroughly capture user needs.
- Design & Implementation:
- Design and implement User Acceptance Test (UAT) plans, conducting UAT sessions with PO & users.
- Plan and ensure comprehensive testing, maintaining traceability between requirements and test cases.
- Perform functional testing of delivered features to confirm they meet specified requirements, documenting any issues, and managing them to resolution as needed.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure clear communication and understanding of IFRS9 requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to discuss project progress, issues, and solutions.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Perform detailed data analysis to support IFRS9 reporting and risk assessment. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track project performance and compliance with IFRS9 standards.
- Emphasize data quality controls and reconciliation processes.
- Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to business users on new processes and systems related to IFRS9. Develop training materials and user guides to facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible. Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements related to IFRS9.
Requirements:
- Experience in credit risk, risk management, and change management.
- Proficiency in SAS EG/Viya and IFRS9.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and functional testing.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in designing and executing re-platforming and transformation projects.
- Familiarity with data management and enterprise transformation initiatives.
