Job Description
AMK Group is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be a pivotal link between business stakeholders and technical teams, responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, and ensuring the delivery of solutions that drive business value. This role requires a strong understanding of business process modeling, requirements prioritization, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Elicitation & Documentation:Elicit and translate complex business requirements into clear and concise User Stories.
- Lead and organize Requirement Gathering (Elicitation) meetings using diverse techniques such as Interviews, Questionnaires, Interface Analysis, Document Analysis, Brainstorming Sessions, and Focus Group Discussions.
- Prioritize requirements effectively using methodologies like MOSCOW and Business Value assessment.
- Deliver comprehensive requirement documents including Business Requirement Document (BRD), Functional Requirement Document (FRD), Software Requirement Specification (SRS), Use Cases, Process Flows, Change Requests, Traceability Matrix, and Mind Maps.
- Communicate client's business requirements by constructing easy-to-understand data analyses and models.
- Analysis & Solution Design:Conduct in-depth Gap Analysis, Scope Analysis, and Impact Analysis on business processes using techniques like Use Case Diagrams (UML), Context Diagrams (Data Flow Modeling), BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation), and Flow Charts.
- Perform AS-IS and TO-BE Analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and suggest Fit-for-Business Solutions by designing optimized processes.
- Be involved in creating wire-frames and mock-ups for system design to visualize proposed solutions.
- Quality Assurance & Implementation Support:Verify and Validate requirements to ensure they deliver intended business value by conducting various reviews with clients.
- Perform quality assurance (functional testing) and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring on-time, on-budget, and successful go-live of applications.
- Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:Act as the central point of contact for all project activities, liaising effectively with Delivery Managers, IT personnel, and business stakeholders.
- Consult with IT Personnel to determine comprehensive business, functional, and technical requirements for specified applications.
- Reporting & Project Completion:Develop effective reporting tools for the business unit.
- Drive and complete existing projects from original concept through final implementation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in a Business Analyst role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in various requirement elicitation techniques.
- Proficiency in creating business analysis deliverables such as BRD, FRD, SRS, Use Cases, and Process Flows.
- Experience with process modeling tools and techniques (UML Use Case Diagrams, Context Diagrams, BPMN, Flow Charts).
- Ability to conduct AS-IS and TO-BE analysis and propose solutions.
- Experience with requirements prioritization methods (e.g., MOSCOW).
- Familiarity with creating wire-frames and mock-ups.
- Experience in functional testing and facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
