Build And Release Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Release & DevOps Engineer to manage, automate, and streamline our software release and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, containerization, scripting, and database management to ensure smooth, secure, and reliable software releases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute software release activities using Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Docker.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient integration and deployment.
• Oversee containerization and orchestration of microservices-based applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement automation scripts using Python and Shell to optimize build and deployment processes.
• Ensure security and compliance across releases following standards such as OAuth2 and ELDAP.
• Manage artifact repositories using tools like Ansible, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
• Administer and optimize Oracle and MySQL databases during deployment activities.
• Maintain detailed release documentation, track versioning, and support post-deployment validations.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and production teams to ensure efficient and reliable release cycles.
• Support adoption of AI-driven automation tools in the supply chain domain where applicable.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Strong experience in release management and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Hands-on expertise in Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, and Bitbucket.
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
• Good understanding of database administration (Oracle, MySQL) and security protocols.
• Experience in supply chain domain or AI-driven automation is a plus.
