B.Tech / BSc in Textile or Apparel - Fresher @ Bangalore

Education qualification: Diploma / Graduation in Textile Technology or Apparel related qualification

Key Responsibilities:

• Collecting information about the sampling and bulk orders from Marketing / Merchandising and corresponding with them for any clarifications required.
• Calculating the bill of material for bulk orders and entering the sourcing data into the Software.
• Forwarding tentative fabric quantities to fabric suppliers to get price and delivery confirmation.
• Forwarding final fabric quantities to fabric suppliers after cross checking with software quantities.
• To receive proforma invoice against final fabric quantities and get fabric purchase released by superiors.
• Keeping track on the design, quantities and its amendments about particular orders that are handled by them.
• Receiving standard color chips from marketing and sending to fabric supplier for lab dips development as per buyer requirements.
• Informing about the bill of material to Seniors and discuss about clarity of orders.
• Cross checking the basic quality parameters and updating the suppliers on initial yardage received.
• Communicating with BI team for commercial activities and clearing the costing hassles, LC issues if any, in consultation with Managers/AGM.
