Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Branch Operations

  • Manage the opening and closing of the branch store as per standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the Head Office and Branch Manager.
  • Maintain orderliness, cleanliness, and professional ambiance of the branch premises.
  • Oversee product display, housekeeping, and stock management to enhance customer experience.
  • Ensure all branch operations comply with company policies and audit standards.

2. Team Management

  • Train and mentor branch staff and new employees to improve efficiency and service quality.
  • Motivate the team to achieve sales and performance targets.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment promoting teamwork, transparency, and mutual respect.
  • Conduct periodic team performance evaluations and recommend improvements.

3. Marketing and Business Development

  • Execute Through-The-Line (TTL) marketing activities in alignment with the marketing team.
  • Engage in customer calling, follow-ups, and local marketing initiatives to drive footfall.
  • Manage WhatsApp, social, and digital marketing promotions at the branch level.
  • Assist in building customer loyalty and driving repeat business.

4. Customer Service

  • Greet and assist customers by understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Provide detailed product information and offer tailored recommendations.
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism.
  • Manage referral programs, gifts, and other customer engagement activities.

5. Stock and Inventory Management

  • Conduct daily cycle counts of branch stocks and prepare detailed inventory reports using ERP or POS systems.
  • Support the Branch Manager in stock forecasting and maintaining Minimum Stock Levels (MSL).
  • Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies in inventory promptly.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams for timely stock replenishment.
  • Ensure effective implementation of stock control and loss prevention measures.

6. Alignment with Organizational Values

  • Prepare and maintain all branch-related reports and MIS including sales performance, inventory updates, and customer insights.
  • Participate in branch and organizational review meetings to share progress, challenges, and best practices.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies, SOPs, and HR guidelines.
  • Promote and uphold the organization's values, culture, and ethics in all operations.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • 4–8 years of experience in retail branch operations, store management, or sales supervision.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems (ERP/POS).
  • Proven ability to manage teams, handle customer interactions, and meet sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in local language and proficiency in MS Office tools.
