Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Credit Decisions

  • Make informed and sound lending decisions based on thorough analysis of available information and direct interactions with loan applicants.
  • Proactively manage credit quality to minimize delinquencies, mitigate fraud risks, and ensure adherence to credit policies and procedures.

Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor and manage branch credit performance against key drivers, including:
  • Losses / Portfolio Quality Parameters: Analyze portfolio health, identify potential risks, and implement strategies to maintain a high-quality loan book.
  • Cost of Credit Administration: Optimize processes and resource allocation to ensure efficient and cost-effective credit operations.
  • Employee Productivity: Drive team efficiency and effectiveness in credit assessment, processing, and monitoring activities.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate / Postgraduate
  • 4-5 years experience in Credit/Underwriting of Secured/Unsecured products
  • Ability to manage credit processes & teams
